Dive In
This is something I was working on for fun a few months ago. Basically, I was playing with color correction and some effects in After Effects to get a scheme that looked like something similar to that of a motion graphic artist named "Dstrukt"s color correction work. Had a lot of fun making it.
Honestly, I forget what songs I used, I know there are 2. I believe they are by Unkle, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

Psycho
Made this for fun. I hate 50 cent as much as the next guy, but oddly enough he was passable in this song, though I mainly edited this for Eminem's segments, which were amazing as usual. Anyway, enjoy, or don't, don't really give a fuck.

Callin Me
So I made this amv as a little promotion for an Emcee who goes by the name of "Nasty" on youtube. He's a very good lyricist and I enjoy his stuff, cool dude too. If you guys like the song, or even if you don't, go check out his shit. Essentially, the song and video are about anxiety issues and pill addiction, something I know quite a bit about and have dealt with/am dealing with myself, so I've always felt a strong connection to this guys music, and why I choose this song in particular.
Oh, side note, this was made when DZ was still alive so that'd be why the intro says DZ-Studios.

The Greatest Love Of All
A lot to say about this video. I never really cared to watch this movie until my friend Matt [Reda] forced me to one night. I enjoyed it. Sometime after, I started listening to Tom Waits first album and heard a song on it that just screamed American Psycho. It had that really classy feel to it, which I thought would be hilarious to combine with this movie. It's in all sense a black comedy. Everything about this video was done intentionally, all the cuts, all the scene selection, you name it. Even the cuts relate to the general theme of conformity throughout the movie. This is probably my favorite personal video to date. I hope you enjoy it.

Free From The World
Brother
I made this video not too long ago to help myself cope with the loss of my brother. I had seen Eagle Eye one night on cable by chance and I really enjoyed the movie. The one thing about it that really got to me though was the funeral scene, and the way Jerry talked about his brother. It got to me because some of the things he was saying were exactly what I was feeling inside. There are a few repeated clips in this video, which I repeated intentionally. When dealing with the loss of somebody this close or even close to you in general, you tend to have racing repeating thoughts...memories of the one you lost, things you could have maybe done to prevent the loss from happening, things they said to you or you said to them...I wanted to try to get that idea across.
I have never to this day put so much personal value into something I've edited and all in all, I made this video for myself, and originally didn't even plan on showing it to anybody, most specifically people on the org. But I figure I might as well. Maybe it could help somebody else out there cope with a loss, or shed some light on another relationship between brothers, if only a little. To be honest the only reason I'm actually releasing it here is because of the responce I got on this video from somebody else the other night that really made me feel like I did my job correctly and that there are still people out there who will be able to feel a bit of what I might be feeling while watching this video, and maybe take something from that feeling.

As I was watching Cloudy with a Chance Of Meatballs, the first thought that came to my mind was "God, there are going to be so many silly ridiculous videos to this movie...", so I set out to do something different. I wanted to try turning this movie into drama, and I think I did a damn good job. 10$ says you will never see a video with this source that is anything like it. Hope you enjoy.

Rocknrolla
People ask the question... what's a RocknRolla? And I tell 'em - it's not about drums, drugs, and hospital drips, oh no. There's more there than that, my friend. We all like a bit of the good life - some the money, some the drugs, other the sex game, the glamour, or the fame. But a RocknRolla, oh, he's different. Why? Because a real RocknRolla wants to fucking rock.

Blood Stained Soul {The Killer Within}
this is basically a remake of SuperVegetable/Vegas6d's video, and I did ask him. I've been wanting to do this video for such a long time, but never got around to it. Then I saw SuperVegetable/Vegas6d's video to it..and it made me wanna take this into action even more. I put A LOT of work into this, and I think it came out really good, not many effects, but enough, and used where needed. The song was quite hard to edit to for me, and this is my first REAL drama/sentimental video lol, but the song fit Hiei like a sexy sexy glove, so I couldn't pass up doing it.

Flaming Spirit {Value of a Man}
A Kuwabara tribute, a video to one of the coolest people in Yu Yu Hakusho, though hes a bit of an idiot who fails a lot, but we'll get to that later.
Well, for those of you who don't know who Kuwabara is, let me post a brief description for you...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kazuma Kuwabara - Kuwabara is the second toughest kid in the school, and resents Yusuke for it. Originally rivals, Yusuke and Kuwabara would start a grudging friendship that only strengthens throughout the series. Kuwabara isnt the brightest of the gang either {not at first anyway}. Although human, Kuwabara has high spirit sensitivity; shortly after accompanying Yusuke on missions, he is able to create a Spirit Sword a type of Reiki that normally takes on the shape of a glowing sword.
After the Dark Tournament Saga, Kuwabara is believed to be the strongest human alive (Genkai implies this). Though he may not be the strongest in the "gang", he is certainly the kindest, as he has a certain affinity for kittens
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, thats Kuwabara for you, in my views, and an extremely summed up version of that...he's the weakest of the group, a bit of an idiot, and fails a lot, but is always pushing and breaking his limits. So, no song would fit him better to me, than "More Than Useless" by Relient K. Which is also what I used.

In The Light
Alright, damn, something must be wrong with me, I'm actually finishing videos o_o Anyways, so the other night I was just layin down on the couch, about to go to sleep, and all of the sudden a line from the song "In The Light" by Led Zeppelin popped into my mind, and I kept seeing bebop with it, so I got up and got to work on this. I think it came out extremely well, especially for a 1 day video, I must say I love the atmosphere I was able to give it, and I hope some of you can enjoy it aswell. Now being as this is an old old song, with an old-type anime, I don't expect alot of new editors to be able to get into it, i mean the song is from like, 1975...so yeah.
It is kind of eerie how well the mood of this song works with Bebop, I think the lyrics are a pretty good match as well. The editing in general was pretty easy, song is somewhat slow but it has its pickups aswell. Anyway, the song is incredibly long, especially for bebop, so I ended the video on a certain part that I felt worked
In closing, hope you guys enjoy it, leave an opinion if you liked it. and that's about it.

A badass action video to a badass anime. Spriggan may not be much in terms of plot, but the action is more than enough to keep you glued to your screen. Nostalgic For Yesterday (AMA Rip)
This video was heavily inspired by AMA's "Nostalgic For Yesterday". I actually had the idea in my head for this video far before seeing his, so I call it a rip out of respect. This is essentially a character profile on Naota, as well as a tribute to the series. Can't say I had a lot of fun editing this do to the amount of cuts and work that went into it, but hey, that's the price to pay for greatness. Though this is one of my worst videos in terms of fan feedback, I still love it. So check it out, hate it, love it, whatever.

The Collector [Original]
Arashinome's Comments:
Alright, this, in essence, I suppose, would be your average run of the mill Advent Children video..however, Matt and I tryed to make it very different in terms of the editing, and we actually used effects *gasp* I thought this song fit Cloud quite well, and it was very fun to edit to (For me anyway :P)
That said, enjoy the video, and leave an opinion =)

Gone Away [I'll Be Fine]
I don't have too much to say about this amv. I fell in love with the song once I heard it, and the band has never been used on the org, so I figured it'd save me a bit on originality, so why not? While I don't have too much to say about this video, it is still very special to me, and I am quite pleased with how it came out.
I completely cut the surfer girl out of this video, I really like the scenes with her, but I wanted this to be solely about him and the girl from his childhood. In The Sunshine
So after doing the usual whored romance 5cm vid, I decided I wanted to do something original with the source. KingDavid sent me the song Sunshine by Atmosphere, and I loved it. I instantly thought of 5cm and Beyond the Clouds as they had some very useful summer type scenes. I cut romance out of the video completely, and went for more of a friendship theme. I think it came out very nice.
This video means alot to me, as 2 of my best friends have moved and I rarely hang out with them anymore. Max Payne
So basically this is just something I was working on to pass the time until the Max Payne movie came out. I had originally planned to release this on the day the movie came out, but laziness got the better of me. Anyway, I'm a major fan of Max Payne, and I figured why not make a trailer for the movie? I started looking through my sources and figured Bebop would work very well with the trailer audio. I think it came out pretty good overall, might make a few more trailers since I am quite happy with this ones outcome.

King Of The Road
So for years this song has been stuck in my head. It's the only thing I know about my grandfather, he loved this song and played it every Christmas. Ever since I got into smoking cigarettes again I've got a new found appreciation for it. That said, I've always been a big fan of Wonka's "King of The Road" video. The lyrics tell of a rambling man who despite being poor revels in his freedom, describing himself jokingly as the "king of the road", which is exactly what I wanted to portray in this video. I really wanted to focus on Spike and the non-action scenes in the bebop movie. I've always enjoyed Wonka's King of the Road video, but I've also always felt like it was too action packed and not focused enough on what the song is truly about.

Song: Lithium [90's radio acoustic recording, before the song was finished]
Artist: Kurt Cobain [As he's the only one performing]
I have a lot I could say about this video, but I'm not going to. All I will say is that this video is relatively personal to me, and I don't expect many people to like it.
I used an acoustic radio version of the song that Kurt Cobain performed before they were finished writing it. I felt that it gave a little something more to the video than the actual song would, especially considering Nirvana is a popular band.

The World Out There
This is a collaboration I made with ExSphere, editing times can be found here:
-----------------------------------------------
00:00 - 00:21 ExSphere
00:22 - 01:27 Arashinome
01:28 - 03:00 ExSphere
03:00 - 03:45 Arashinome
all color correction work done by arashinome
-----------------------------------------------
Essentially, this is a video about living life and overcoming your obstacles. I generally wanted to get the songs message across with the imagery whenever I edited my sectons, I tried to use some clips that you don't see used as much with AC. Jeff had started this video as just a beta to practice editing a little. When he sent it to me, I dug the editing, but really felt like something was missing. I threw it in ae and started color correcting it, and I felt like it finally had that atmosphere it was missing. Afterward I decided to collaborate with Jeff on the video.
I have to say, I am quite happy with the result, and I'm really impressed with Jeff's editing. He's come a long way as an editor, and to finally make a collaboration as an equal with somebody I used to teach really makes me proud.
Anyway, I suppose that's all I've got to say about the video...other then Enjoy.
